Men are comfort creatures and pretty simple to understand. Women on the other hand tend to be more complex and very confusing. At least that is the man’s perception of them. Knowing this is the first step to understanding what we find attractive in women. While it does violate the man code, here is some dating advice for women by men.
Don’t pretend. It is no secret that people will put up a little bit of a front when they first start dating. This is not about making sure your nails are always done or your hair looks great, this is about pretending that you like things that you cannot stand. If you don’t like football, don’t jump up on the chair and act like you love it. Whatever you enjoy early on is filed away in our simple minds to be enjoyed for all of eternity. It’s cool if you don’t like everything we do, just don’t act like you do.
When you go out to dinner, eat! A lot of guys will use a dinner date to decide how far this relationship is going to go. We know you eat pizza, ice cream and cookies when you are home, so don’t order a salad and a diet soda when you go out. You are much more attractive when you are enjoying yourself than being uptight about your dinner choice.
Be sexy. We are about as transparent as it comes and we love women who look hot. When you are first starting out, make sure you look your best every time. Is it shallow to say this? Of course it is, but we want to want you all the time. Later on in the relationship you can get away with wearing that baggy t-shirt because we know what is underneath. Early on, make us drool!
Please do not act like one of the boys. This is not attractive! In fact, it is quite annoying. It is not important for us to have you hang out with the guys when we do, we would actually prefer that you don’t. When you want to be around our friends all the time, it usually means you don’t trust us and you are going to be history. You are a girl, so act like it!
